SAGE Therapeutics Announces Pricing of Public Offering of Common Stock

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., April 14, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SAGE Therapeutics (Nasdaq:SAGE), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel medicines to treat life-threatening, rare central nervous system (CNS) disorders, today announced the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 2,285,714 shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $52.50 per share, before underwriting discounts. In addition, SAGE has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 342,857 shares of common stock on the same terms and conditions.

J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Goldman, Sachs & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering. Leerink Partners LLC and Cowen and Company, LLC are serving as co-managers. The offering is expected to close on or about April 20, 2015, subject to customary closing conditions.
